Detailed Biography of Warren Moon
Warren Moon proved to be a successful quarterback not only in the National Football League but also in the Canadian Football League, which as led to him having the distinction of being the only player in history to have been honored with induction in to both the Canadian Football Hall of Fame and also to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Born in Los Angeles, California, early Warren Moon appearances in football include his strong presence on the football team for the University of Washington Huskies. He played in the Rose Bowl for the team and even ended up capturing the 1978 Rose Bowl Most Valuable Player Award. Following college, Warren Moon appearances shifted over the Canadian border as he became one of the most popular quarterbacks in Canadian football history while playing for the Edmonton Eskimos from 1978 to 1983 in the Canadian Football League. From there, Warren Moon appearances shifted thousands of miles away to the Houston Oilers, where he became one of the team’s most popular players. From 1984 to 1993, Warren Moon appearances for the Houston Oilers of the National Football League netted him a number of accolades and awards, including the NEA National Football League Most Valuable Player, the NFL Offensive Player of the Year, the Pro Bowl Most Valuable Player, the UPI AFL AFC Player of the Year and the Man of the Year Award.
Following those Warren Moon appearances for the Houston Oilers, he made appearances for the Minnesota Vikings, the Seattle Seahawks and the Kansas City Chiefs before retiring from professional football in 2000.
