For nearly two solid decades, Mike Breen has been the voice of the NBA, and basketball fans have long associated him with heated action on the court.

A New York native, Mike Breen appearances as a sportscaster first began on local radio station WNBC. From there, he became the voice of the New York Knicks for New York’s MSG Network. His work as a prominent NBA announcer first began with NBC, and when the games shifted to ABC and ESPN, so did Breen. Today and since 2006, he has served as the NBA’s lead broadcaster in telecasts on sister networks ESPN and ABC.
