As owner of Lisa Hartman Dog Training, Lisa Hartman specializes in creating well-mannered companion dogs by using easy to understand dog training and behavior modification techniques.  She creates specific plans, tailored to meet the needs of each dog to help owners effectively train their pets.  Over the years she has become a highly sought after animal trainer and pet expert.

Lisa is the author of two books including: “Dial a Dynamite Dog: The Ultimate Field Guide for Training Your Pet” and “Hampton Dogs.”  Additionally, she writes a weekly pet column for the Biscayne Times called Pawsitively Pets, which is frequently referenced by veterinarians, pet owners, and training facilities around the country.  Lisa also serves as the Director of Behavior and Dog Training for the Humane Society in the Greater Miami Area.  Over her career she has also worked as the trainer for the Responsible Dog Owners of Miami Beach, The Riverwalk Trust, and the Humane Society of Broward County.  Lisa also worked to create the Dalmatians for Dalmatian Rescue program.
