Detailed Biography of Kathy Salzberg
Kathy Salzberg claims animals have always been her passion; she has been a certified master groomer in pet industry for over thirty years now. Her father opened The Village Groomer in Walpole, Massachusetts back in 1969, where she began working in 1976. Today, Kathy owns and operates the award winning grooming service with her daughter Missi.
She is the author of two books including: “Everything Small Dogs Book” and “How to start a Home Based Pet Business.” Additionally, Kathy has written extensively for several pet care based consumer magazines including “Groom and Board,” a groomer’s magazine. In 1995 and 1999 she was awarded The Cardinal Crystal Achievement Award for Grooming Journalist of the
Year for her work on the “Groom and Board” column. Over the years she has also been a regular contributor to Dog Fancy, Cat Fancy, Puppies USA, Dogs USA, Cats USA, Kittens USA, Pet Age, and Pet Product News.
